Wildfire Danger - NO Brush Burning or Burn Permits of Any Kind

Due to the extremely dry weather of late, the State has mandated a pause on the issuing of Burn Permits for any reason. Chief Benner would like to add to that people not use firepits, outdoor wood stoves, or fireplaces for the foreseeable future. The danger is grave and no unnecessary risks need be taken at this time. On behalf of the State and the Friendship Fire Department, we would like to thank you for your understanding and compliance.
