Route 220 Road Closure

For your situational awareness - As of  September 22nd Route 220 South, or Friendship Road, will be closed around the 1700 block in order to replace a culvert. The work is being done by the Maine Department of Transportation. As the road will be closed completely at the point of work you will need to follow the detour using Finntown Road. Because of this closure Waldoboro EMS has a plan to ensure coverage 24/7 throughout the work period. Hopefully, as this is a State/D.O.T project, the timeline for completion of the work will be short. Thank you!
